Mr. U T Rao , PGT(Economics) ,KV Barrackpore(AFS) has participated in JENESYS Programme -2008 through Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan from Ministry of HRD , New Delhi ,from 24.6.2008 to 03.07.2008 in Japan.
Mr. U T Rao , PGT(Economics) ,KV Barrackpore(AFS) with Co-National Awardee Teachers and Dr Manmohan Singh , Prime Minister of India on 4.9.08 at PMs residence.
Mr. U T Rao ,PGT Economics) ,KV Barrackpore(AFS) received National Award 2007 on 5.9.08 from her Excellency Smt Pratibha Patil , President of India in Vigyan Bhawan , New Delhi for his 2 decade long outstanding services in KVS .
The government of India has extended following facilities to Mr Rao.

3) A certificate of Merit
4) 2 years extension in service
5) 50% rail concession in Sleeper Class
